Chor Amica welcomes guest conductor Patrick Murray for Earth Speaks, featuring Morten Lauridsen's sparkling Midwinter Songs, the dramatic and brooding nature meditations of Brahms's Vier Quartette, a journey to Mars in Reena Esmail's Curiosity, and Patrick Murray's own setting of Patricia Orr's Awake, Timid Soul. Complementing the music will be readings from renowned London poets Jennifer Chesnut and Penn Kemp. Travel with us on this musical journey of appreciation for our planet and worlds beyond!
